She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles C. Barchanowicz and Blanche S. Barchanowicz (Sikorski); her husband Donald William Smith; her son Donald A. Smith; her son-in-law Tom Orzulak; and her siblings, Genevieve Snitcher, Blanche Brletic, Stanley, Joseph, Alex, Eugene, Leonard and Chester Barchanowicz.
She is survived by: her children, Patricia Orzulak of Shawnee, KS and Kenneth C. Smith (Joan) of Lincoln; her grandchildren, Jenny Cedar (Chris), Carrie Shellgren (Karl), Joshua Smith, Joseph Smith (Kasey), Matthew Orzulak and Elizabeth "Cissy" Lenhart (Steve); and her great grandchildren, Laney Urban, Knox Cedar, Hunter Smith, Wyatt Smith, Bo Smith, Asher Smith, Amelia Lenhart, Claire Lenhart, Jacob Lenhart and Henry Lenhart. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Gilbert Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc. (6028 Smithfield St, McKeesport, PA 15135). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
