With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lester Earl Maurer (Greenock, Pennsylvania), who passed away on February 6, 2024 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester Maurer, Sr. and Gertrude Beatrice Maurer (Taylor); his former wife Mary Lou Maurer (Harding); his son James Maurer; and his sisters, Doris Bailey and Joan Heilman.
He is survived by: his children, Theresa Yanosky (Frank) of West Newton, Mary Obley (James) of McKeesport and Lester E Maurer, III of McKeesport; his brother Ronald Maurer (Val) of McKeesport; his grandchildren, Melissa Brubaker (George), Danielle McLaughlin (Jesse), Melanie Cerro (Joe), Jessica Yanosky (Anthony), Matthew Yanosky (Kayla), Myles Kelly (Justyne) and Dustin Obley (Emily); and his great grandchildren, Kayla, Kirsten, Dylan, Kylie, Averyann, Addyson, Oliver and Emma. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
