We are sad to announce that on March 3, 2025 we had to say goodbye to Margaret S. Karolyi of Greenfield Township, Pennsylvania. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Hungarian and Mary Sziracky (Francovsky); her daughters, Susan Marzolino (Tony) of Berkshire, N. Y. and Anne Karolyi (Michael Orazzi) of Torrington, Conn.; her grandson Tom Marzolino (Shana) of Delaware; her great grandchildren, Luca and Leo; her grandsons, Nick Marzolino (Bethany) of New York, Wiley Dickerson of Hagerstown and Niles Dickerson (Jessie) of Reston; her nephews, Tony DaCruz of Arizona and Phillip DaCruz of New Jersey; her husband Alexander F. Karolyi; her daughter Elizabeth Austin of Hagerstown; and her sister Marion Maia DaCruz of Virginia.
Visitation was held on Sunday, March 9th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Brennan & Brennan Funeral Home, Inc. (55 Lincoln Ave, Carbondale, PA 18407). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Monday, March 10th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Rose of Lima Church (6 N Church St, Carbondale, PA 18407). An entombment was held on Monday, March 10th 2025 at the Our Mother of Sorrows Cemetery (412 PA-106, Greenfield Township, PA 18407).
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to Carbondale Public Library, 5 North Main St., Carbondale, Pa., 18407; to Griffin Pond Animal Shelter, 967 Griffin Pond Road, Clarks Summit, Pa. 18411, or to the Greenfield Township Volunteer Fire Company, 424 Route 106, Greenfield Township, Pa., 18407.
