He was predeceased by: his parents, Leroy Delaney and Florence Dobrowalski Delaney; his son David A. Gearhart (Kaitlyn); his brother Robert Delaney; and his brothers-in-law, Clair Lundberg and Dennis Slattery.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Moyer Delaney; his children, Danielle Hofmann (Sean), Denise Wroblewski (John), Amanda Delaney, Crystal Delaney (Cody Brunner), Mary Pondel (Chris), Cheyenne Delaney, Lisa Morrow (Brad), Howard Delaney, Devon Delaney, Justin Delaney, Liam Delaney, Joseph Delaney, Jr. (Lisa) and Michael Delaney; and his siblings, Patricia Slattery, Betty Lundberg, Linda Delaney and William Delaney. He is also survived by 21 grandchildren; two great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to the family in care of the funeral home.
