James P. Palmiero Obituary
We are sad to announce that on January 24, 2025, at the age of 77, James P. Palmiero of Greenfield Township, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As James departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved James. Though James may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James A. Palmiero and Palma Luparella Palmiero; his parents-in-law, Russell and Clara Scavo; and his brother-in-law Gregory Stackhouse.
He is survived by: his wife Susan Scavo.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 28th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Carmine J. & Louis C. Parise Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc. (89 Farview St, Carbondale, PA 18407). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Wednesday, January 29th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church (15 Fallbrook St, Carbondale, PA 18407). A burial was held on Wednesday, January 29th 2025 from 12:45 PM to 1:15 PM at the Our Mother of Sorrows Cemetery (400 PA-106, Greenfield Township, PA 18407).
