He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Jacob and Leah Talhelm (Ryder); and his siblings, Janet Talhelm, Helen Statler, Paul G. Talhelm and Chester R. Talhelm.
He is survived by: his spouse Shirley H. Talhelm (Hartman); his children, Doug Talhelm (Ashley Eaton) of Boston, MA and Melissa Talhelm of New Haven, CT; his grandchildren, Jefferson, Graham and Ivy; and his sister Marie Myers of Greencastle. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the Evangelical Lutheran Church 130 North Washington St. Greencastle, PA 17225.
