With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Vivian I. Cordell (Greencastle, Pennsylvania), born in Washington, Pennsylvania, who passed away on February 16, 2020 at the age of 99. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer W. Grosh and Zella V. Grosh (Helm); her husband Robert H. Cordell; and her brothers, William Grosh, Owen Grosh, Harry Grosh and Andrew Grosh.
She is survived by: her children, Gary L. Cordell (Kim) of Warfordsburg, PA, Lois F. Lynch (Richard) of Mercersburg, PA, Rich Cordell of Ormond Beach, FL, Evelyn M. Myers (Elwood) of Waynesboro, PA, Ronald E. Cordell (Alma Jean) of Greencastle, William H. Cordell (Bonnie) of Greencastle, Carole A. Tracey-Stockslager (Gary) of Greencastle and Tom R. Cordell of Greencastle; and her sister Dorothy M. Lenharr of Chambersburg, PA. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren; 7 great-great grandchildren.
