He was predeceased by: his parents, Glenn S. Friese and Betty J. Friese (Myers). He is survived by: his son Timothy Friese II; his granddaughter Lilyan Friese; and his siblings, Glenda Sipes (Dennis), Catherine Mallek (Thomas), Carol Ann Helfrick (Dale), Patricia Rodgers (Michael) and Gary Friese (Nancy). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
