He was predeceased by: his parents, Wallace L. Funk and Jane I. Funk (Weller). He is survived by: his wife Martha Funk (Byers); his children, Deana Meyers (Leon) of Chambersburg, Neil Funk (Wanda) of Bethel, PA, Matthew Funk (Renee) of Mercersburg and Rhonda Stewart (Ernie) of Mercersburg; and his brother Harold Funk (Linda) of Mercersburg. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 36 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 26th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, December 27th 2024 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Upton Brethren Church (8490 Warm Spring Rd, Greencastle, PA 17225). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 27th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Mercy House of Chambersburg.
