He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond R. Mellott and Alice D. Black Mellott; and his siblings, Barbara Spangler and Douglas Charles Mellott. He is survived by: his children, Robert H. Mellott (Melanie) of Greencastle, PA, Wendy Fogelsonger (Bud) of Mercersburg, PA and Stacey Mellott of Chambersburg, PA; his grandchildren, Kyle Mellott, Samantha Farnham, Dylan Newcomer of Shania Fogelsonger, R. J, Dalton Mellott and Taylor Meredith; and his brother Richard Mellott (Sherry). He is also survived by 8 great grandchildren.
