It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Wayne Buttry of Greencastle, Pennsylvania, born in Nevada, Iowa, who passed away on November 3, 2024, at the age of 57, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Merrill, Virginia Heintz, Roy and Helen Buttry; his grandson Dominic Buttry; his uncle Mark Heintz; his aunt Shirley Gray; and his close friend Dallas.
He is survived by: his wife Denise Buttry; his parent Joan Heintz (Denise Buttry); his children, Robert Corey Buttry (Colleen Buttry), Christian Buttry (Anna Buttry) and Georgia Buttry (Nicholas Cool); his sisters, Angie Probasco (Don Probasco), Kelly Myers (Jon McBroom) and Abby Buttry; his grandchildren, Annalyn, Remleigh, Maverick, Olivia, Mckinsley, Dalton, Jayce and Willow; his mother-in-law Pauline Keeney (Harry Farell); and his siblings-in-law, April Lowe (Ronny Lowe), Melissa Huffer (Mike Huffer) and Shane Keeney (Billie Keeney). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the J. L. Davis Funeral Home (12525 Bradbury Ave, Smithsburg, MD 21783). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
In Lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to The American Heart Association in remembrance of Robert Buttry, Jr.
