He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph H. Scruton, Sr. and Viola Adela Scruton (Davis); his wife Bertie L. Scruton (Conrad); and his brother Herman D. Shook. He is survived by: his daughters, Katina Stine (Max) and Kimberly Cline (Rodney); and his grandchildren, Ronald Cotton, Tunya Witmer (John), Robert Cotton and Lisa Sull (Cole). He is also survived by nine great-grandchildren.
