He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph L. Wharton and Elizabeth A. Wharton (Zeger); and his sister Debra Ann Pearce. He is survived by: his fiancée Brenda L. Fisher; his son Cory R. Wharton; and his sisters, Donna E. Wharton of Fayetteville, PA and Tracey J. Tice of Chambersburg, PA. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
