It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Norma Jean Witmer of Greencastle, Pennsylvania, who passed away on December 3, 2024, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ambrose Earl and Margaret Catherine Carbaugh Izer; and her son Curtis Lynn Witmer. She is survived by: her husband John L. Witmer, Jr.; her sons, Sidney Witmer (Sherry Baird) and Todd Witmer (Amanda) of Inwood, WV; her grandchildren, Amber, Jessica, Liam and Austin Witmer; and her great grandchildren, Ava and Blakely.
As Norma was an avid animal lover, if desired, memorial contributions may be made in her name to the Cumberland Valley Animal Shelter, 5051 Letterkenny Rd. West, Chambersburg, PA 17201.
