With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lynda Fiery Morgan of Greencastle, Pennsylvania, who passed away on January 10, 2025 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Though Lynda Fiery has departed this earthly realm, her legacy endures — a legacy of love that will continue to illuminate the lives of family and friends in the darkest of hours. May her spirit soar on wings of eternal peace, forever cherished in the tender embrace of memory.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert T. "Bud" Fiery and Mildred "Millie" Wachter Fiery. She is survived by: her husband Sheridan Dwight Morgan; and her sons, S. Scott Morgan (Dawn), D. Todd Morgan (Laurie) and Roland T. Morgan (Karen). She is also survived by twelve grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Douglas A. Fiery Funeral Home (1331 Eastern Blvd N, Hagerstown, MD 21742). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.

“Dear Pastor Morgan and family, I am truly sorry for your loss. Mrs. Morgan was such a wonderful and kind person. I have such fond memories of my time at FCS, especially when Mrs. Morgan was my kindergarten teacher. She made such an impact on me when I was little that I ended up with a career in academia.
