She was predeceased by: her parent Elgin Z. Martin; her great grandchild Nevaeh Frazier; her brother Vernon Martin; her nephew Eric Martin; and her sister-in-law Donna Martin.

She is survived by: her parent Caroline Martin (Burkholder) of Greencastle; her spouses, William H. Speielman and Harley; her children, Michelle Rhodes, Christina Webber, Buffie Freeman and Jimmy Spielman; and her siblings, Sharon Nolan, Robert Martin, Richard Martin and Zane Martin. She is also survived by ten grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren.
