She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilford Dayhoff and Margaret Dayhoff; her husband John M. Bennett; her daughter Candace Clopper; and her siblings, Douglas A. Dayhoff, Margaret D. Downs, Robert T. Dayhoff, Marion B. "Buzz" Dayhoff and Ellis Dayhoff, Jr..
She is survived by: her daughter Mary Porterfield (David) of Greencastle, PA; her grandsons, Roman and Alex Porterfield; her great-niece Corrine Downs (Kenny); and her great-nephew Jeff Downs. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
