Leona G. Crider Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Leona G. Crider of Greencastle, Pennsylvania, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 27, 2025 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Leona had on those she encountered along her journey. Though Leona may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, her essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
Visitation was held on Monday, March 3rd 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, March 4th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, March 4th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Marion First United Methodist Church (94 Colorado St, Chambersburg, PA 17202). A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, March 4th 2025 from 11:15 AM to 12:15 PM at the Browns Mill Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to the Cumberland Valley Relief Center 4225 Molly Pitcher Hwy, Chambersburg, PA 17202 and/or Mercy House of Chambersburg, 730 Norland Ave, Chambersburg, PA 17201.
