She was predeceased by: her parents, Rev. Arnold E. Wagaman and Ruth V. Wagaman (Black). She is survived by: her husband Terry L. Shives; her children, Chadwick L. Shives of Greencastle and Keisia N. Shives of Greencastle; and her brother Arnold E. Wagaman, Jr. of Kenai, AK. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
