It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joy Louise Schaeffer (Greencastle, Pennsylvania), born in Millersburg, Pennsylvania, who passed away on February 17, 2019, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph C. Murray and Ethel May Shepley Murray; and her brother Jack L. Murray. She is survived by: her children, Joseph M. Schaeffer (Dena) of Greencastle, PA, Jason M. Schaeffer (Angie) of Greencastle, PA and Jenna M. Mowen (Dirk) of Greencastle, PA; her grandchildren, Dylan Schaeffer, Carly Lesznar, Devin Schaeffer, Abigail Mowen, Ashlynn Schaeffer, Caleb Schaeffer and Baylee Schaeffer; and her sisters, Gayle Geist of Beavertown, PA and Carol Strohecker of Harrisburg, PA.. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews.
