He was predeceased by: his parents, George Cashmere and Anna Cashmere (Dancho); his great grandchild Nicholas; and his siblings, Francis Cashmere, George Cashmere and Dorothy Kautter.
He is survived by: his wife Denise Cashmere (King); his children, Pamela Ann Cashmere-Petit (Ted) of Florida, John Joseph "Jack" Cashmere Jr. (John) of Arkansas, Denise Danielle Falkenthal of California, Kelli Ann Cashmere-Weber (Bill) of Pennsylvania and Brett Stephen Cashmere (Kaitlyn) of Pennsylvania; his grandchildren, Lauren, Owen, Aidan, Evan, Ryan and Rachel; his great grandchildren, Dominic, Anastasia and Theodore; and his sisters, Anna Mariano of Pennsylvania and Veronica Hamlin of North Carolina. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Mark the Evangelist Catholic Church, 395 S Ridge Ave, Greencastle, PA 17225.
