He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Marcell E. Byers Sr. and Bettie of Virginia; his grandmother Garling Byers of Greencastle, PA.; his wife Ora Mary; his stepdaughters, Angela Angle (Charles) of Mercersburg and Melissa McFadden (Vernon) of Mercersburg; and his brother Marcell "Pat" Byers Jr. (Faye) of Stateline, PA. He was also cherished by three nephews, three great nephews and one great niece.
Due to Covid-19 restrictions, services are private and at the convenience of the family.
