He was predeceased by: his parents, Franklin B. Izer and Florence Izer (Swope); and his siblings, Larry Izer, Linda Ulrich, Donald Izer, Sr. and Patricia McCardell.
He is survived by: his wife Dianne Izer (Hamm); his children, Amy Fogle of Hagerstown, MD and Patrick Izer of Mercersburg, PA; his stepdaughter LeAnne Richardson of Hedgesville, WVA; his grandchildren, Courtney Clark, Kaylee Richardson, Alaina Richardson, Alexander Fogle, Chloe Fogle and Erin Izer; and his siblings, Robert Izer of Waynesboro, PA, Darlene Honeycutt of Walstonburg, NC, Saundra Brown of Fairfield, PA, Shirley Kauffman of Fayetteville, PA and Nancy Kreitz of Pen Mar, MD. He is also survived by five great-grandchildren.
