He is survived by: his children, Rebecca A., Samuel I. DeShong of Mercersburg, PA and Nathan; his grandchildren, Samuel II, Josh, Jay, Trenton, Hayden, Stephanie, Sarah, Chelsea, Chartre and Shayna; his great grandchildren, Madison, Olivia, Sophia, Mariah, Delanie, Samuel III and Ethan; and his sisters, Helen DeShong of McConnellsburg, PA and Marlene.
