He was predeceased by: his father Donald Appleby; and his sister Valeria Maye Kave (Appleby). He is survived by: his mother Betty Appleby (Strait) of Greencastle, PA.; his wife Candice Appleby (Candy); his children, Everly Kathleen, Oliver Douglas, Hillary Bohrer (Kevin Bohrer) of Greencastle, PA and Autumn Appleby (Tyler Ackerman) of Greencastle, PA.; his grandchildren, Everly and Oliver Bohrer; his pet Zoe; his nephew Doug Watson (Megan Watson); and his great-nephew Liam of Pasadena, MD.. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, and cousins.

The family requests those attending services to wear a mask.

Memorial donations may be made to Franklin County Hospice or Evangelical Lutheran Church.
