It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dale Eugene Schroyer of Greencastle, Pennsylvania, who passed away on January 1, 2025, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. As we bid adieu to Dale Eugene's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in his wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Dale Eugene has bequeathed us. For though he may have departed from our sight, his spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George Raymond Schroyer and Violet Mae Schroyer (Thomas); and his siblings, Clifford A. Schroyer, Melvin D. Schroyer and Cheryl Lynn Schroyer.
He is survived by: his sons, Brandon K. Schroyer (Katie) and Michael L. Schroyer (Devon); his brothers, Jack L. Schroyer (Naomi), Duane K. Schroyer (Julie), Larry E. Schroyer (Judy) and Vernon L. Schroyer (Barb); and his former wife Stella Schroyer. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 6th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Douglas A. Fiery Funeral Home (1331 Eastern Blvd N, Hagerstown, MD 21742). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
