We are sad to announce that on May 16, 2023, at the age of 81, Charles E. Shifflett of Greencastle, Pennsylvania, born in Smithsburg, Maryland passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard Shifflett and Naomi Shifflett (Hahn); and his brothers, Leonard Eugene Shifflett and Lewis Lee Shifflett. He is survived by: his wife Gladys A Shifflett (Hoover); his children, Brenda Kulp (Robert) and Charles "Buster" Shifflett of Waynesboro, PA; his stepdaughters, Deborah Reiber (Barry), Donna Pierceall (Ted Shives) and Vonna Kuykendall; his siblings, Jeanette "Sis" Carbaugh, Don Shifflett, Kenny Shifflett and Dave Shifflett; and his nephew Roger Hoover (Tracey) of Fort Loudon, PA.. He is also survived by several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, step-grandchildren and step-great grandchildren.
