He is survived by: his parent Verna Bivens (Phenicie); his wife Joan Tosten-Bivens (Caron); his children, Lisa A. Ernharth of Greencastle and Gregory D. Bivens (Liz) of Delmont, PA; his stepchildren, Julie Shippy (Mark) of Shippensburg, Bill Tosten (Karen) of Everett, PA and Josh Tosten (Mandi) of Newville; his grandchildren, David Bivens, Steven Bivens, Amanda Connors, Christine Benton and Stephen Ernharth; his stepgrandchildren, Tanner Tosten, Lanie Weigand, Louden Tosten, Briar Tosten and Brindley Tosten; his sisters, Shirley Keyser of Mercersburg, PA, Thelma Howell, Garnett Bivens of Mercersburg, PA, Sharon Pine and Betty Pensinger; and also June. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
