He is survived by: his son Waylon K. Smith (Shannon); his grandchild Quinn; his son Kyle L. Smith (Arys O'brien); his grandchildren, Inga and Oberon; his siblings, Brenda Shaver and Dale W. Sheller (Ann); his nephew Jason; and his niece Sarah.
