He is survived by: his parent Anna M. Betts (Murray); his children, Dana F. Betts of Hagerstown, Joseph D. Betts of Hagerstown and Nelson D. Betts (Karen) of Falling Waters, WV; and his brother Aubrey J. Betts (Linda) of Hagerstown. He is also survived by four grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.
