It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Avelina Alexander of Greencastle, Pennsylvania, who passed away on September 24, 2024, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though her name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Avelina leaves upon the hearts of her loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of her spirit and the richness of her legacy.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Marcos Melad and Francisca S. Melad; her husband Charles T. Alexander; and her siblings, Edwin, Edgar, Marco S. Melad, Jr. and Marie Melad.
