He was predeceased by: his brother Howard (Ann). He is survived by: his daughters, Cindy DeMerlis (John), Mary Beth Carroll (Matthew Rehm) and Christine Carroll; his grandchildren, Ryan DeMerlis (Jackie), Caitlin DeMerlis, Kelsey DeMerlis, Maxwell Rehm and Clayton Rehm; his great grandchild Aria DeMerlis; and his siblings, Russell (Jay), Richard (Mary), Eugene (Nora), Jack Carroll (Marlene) and Joyce McCarthy (James). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
