He was predeceased by: his wife Lois A. Hoerster (Killmeyer); his parents, Julius Hoerster and Maria Hoerster (Mansmann); and his siblings, Julius Hoerster (late Georgie), Ruth Hoerster, Mary Ann Uminski (late Stanley) and Leo Hoerster (Rita).
He is survived by: his children, Frederick J. Hoerster (Mary) and Laura O'Keeffe (Joseph); and his siblings-in-law, Rita Hoerster, Carol Killmeyer and Timothy Killmeyer (Amy). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
