He was predeceased by: his parents, Merle Thieme and Pearl Thomas Thieme; his wife Althea J. Thieme; his brothers, Richard, James and Donald Thieme; and his grandchildren, Justin Davis and Michelle Padget.
He is survived by: his children, Deborah Plummer (David) of Erie, Shirley Padget of Lake City, Sharon Orr (Robert) of Churchville, NY. and Albert L. Thieme, Jr. (Sharon) of Spartansburg; his sister Linda Kirin (George) of Corry; his grandchildren, Karleen Amoroso, Trisha Sawyer (Tallon), Alanna and Andrea Orr; his stepgrandchildren, Shannon Truesdail, Dana McWilliams, Andrew and Nicole Plummer; his great grandchildren, Kyle, Allison, Kaden, Wyatt and Cali; and his great great grandchild Hailie. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
