He was predeceased by: his wife Betty Jean; his parents, William Sr. Richards and Anna Richards; his son John; his grandson Will; and his sister June.
He is survived by: his children, Peggy Ainey (Rick) and Buck Richards (Radhika); his grandchildren, Lisa (Brian), Richie (Danielle), Josh (Kelliann), Caleb (Kierra) and Wyndee (Ron); and his sister Thelma Smith. He is also survived by great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.
