She was predeceased by: her parents, Grover Gatton and Eileen Midlam (Hull-Gatton); and her husband James C. Valentine. She is survived by: her sons, Clifford J. Valentine (Christine) of Dunmore, PA and Cory J. Valentine (Wendy) of Hallstead, PA.; her grandchildren, Isaac Valentine, Esther Winters (Arin), Gayle, Elijah, Ella and Asher Valentine; and her siblings, Sherrie Williams and Richard Gatton (LuAnn).
