He was predeceased by: his wife Doreen; his children, Timothy and Pamela Materese; his parents, George Wood and Nellie Wood; his grandson Vincent Materese; and his stepson Kevin Brink.
He is survived by: his daughters, Valerie Raymond (Mark) and Kathryn Watkins (Bill); his stepdaughter Teri Brink; his grandchildren, Joanna Materese, Kyle Watkins, Connor Watkins, Jeffrey Darrow, Maggie Darrow and Angelica Brink; and his great grandchildren, Kayonna, Amiah, Jonah and Julian. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
