He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter Buchta and Anna Buchta (Kotick); his wife Cheryl; his sons, Dominic (Laura) and R. Steven Buchta; and his stepdaughter Jolene Drumm.
He is survived by: his children, Cindy Marie Jacobson, Herbert Drumm (Desiree), Julene Graham (Richard), Frani Jo Lawrence (Joshua), Christopher DeLisa, Elizabeth Dutcher (Joseph), Rebecca Jones, Shari Shaffer (Bar) and Kristy Jones; his siblings, Virginia Gregg and James Buchta; his sister-in-law Virginia Kemp; and his grandchildren, David Graham and Kaelin Hughes. He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, and cousins.
