He is survived by: his wife Phyllis; his children, Robert Wintjen Jr. (Lynn), Diana Delgroso, Debbie Scheffey (John) and Matthew Wintjen; and his stepchildren, Eric Empett (Amy) and Jennifer Engstrom (Ronald). He is also survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
