It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert E. Shaffer of Great Bend, Pennsylvania, who passed away on January 26, 2024, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Jacob E. Shaffer and Eva Mae Shaffer; his daughter Christine "Tina" Schroeder; and his brothers, Harry, Richard, Kenneth, Frederick Shaffer and Jacob Edward "Bud" Shaffer.
He is survived by: his wife Sharon; his children, Donna Quick, Robert E. Shaffer Jr., Joan Ogilvie, Lisa Schaffer (James) and Lori Robinson; his grandchildren, Jeremy Quick, Jaime Mallette, Thomas Ogilvie Jr., Brian J. Ogilvie, Danial Schaffer, Felisha Benson (Matthew), Steffany Schaffer, Joshua Schaffer, Amber DeJesus (David), David Whitman, Jason Robinson (Michelle) and Jessica Whitman; and his brother Alvah Shaffer. He is also survived by numerous great grandchildren.
