He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert H. Sloan and Scharlet Michaels Miller. He is survived by: his wife Dawn M. Boyer Sloan; his children, Crystal Brosius (Richard) and Robert Sloan, Jr. of Northumberland; his stepsons, James Nunley (Skip) and Joseph Nunley (Cheryl); his sisters, Janice Lease and Frances Sloan; his niece Megan Mench; and his nephew Bob. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren.
