It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of John Lesher Sr. of Gratz, Pennsylvania, who passed away on July 17, 2023, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Lesher and Eva Lesher; and his siblings, Martha Snyder, Shirley Hendricks and James Lesher Sr..

He is survived by: his wife Laura Smeltzer; his children, John Lesher Jr. (Suzanne), Michael Lesher (Marge), Sharon Shade and LaRay Howell (Daniel); his grandchildren, Zachary, Ben, Josh Lesher, Jer Lettich, Shara Stoltzfus, Ashlyn Graeff, Javin Shade, Paul Strohecker and Brooke Howell; and his siblings, Martin (Alicia), Paul Lesher (Faye) and Ruth Bohner (Darvin). He is also survived by 12 great grandchildren, as well as nieces and nephews.
