He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles "Irvin" Kauffman and Flossie Anna Kauffman (Rebuck); his wife Shirley Kauffman (Snyder); and his grandson Michael Moyer. He is survived by: his children, Karen Louisa Shuttlesworth (Michael H. Shuttlesworth Sr.) and Williamstown. He is also survived by nine great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren, and over 75 nieces and nephews with his two wives.
