It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Beverly A. Meek of Grassflat, Pennsylvania, who passed away on April 15, 2025, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. As Beverly A. departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Beverly A. may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Beverly A. leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George Frye and Pearl Frye (Crownover); her spouse Llewellyn G. Meek; and her siblings, Gloria Pighetti and Roy Frye.
She is survived by: her children, Bob Meek (Emma) of Grassflat, PA, Galen Meek (Dorothy) of Tyrone, PA, Rodney Meek of State College, PA, Glenn Meek (Tracy) of Bellefonte, PA, Charlene Woodring (Steve) of Port Matilda, PA and Terry Meek of Wisconsin; and her brother Ed Frye. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, April 21st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Haky/Georgiana Centre County Funeral Home (1034 Benner Pike, State College, PA 16801).
