He was predeceased by: his parents, Theodore R. Franklin and Jean Patterson Franklin; his parents-in-law, Phyllis Long Rockwell and Robert J. Rockwell; and his daughter Rebecca Kashtan Dremann of Lynchburg, VA..
He is survived by: his wife Gail; his children, Lee E. Franklin (Mandy), Lisa Zdon of Towanda and Tammy Smiley of Wysox; his grandchildren, Sarah Rose Lantis of Santa Cruz, CA, Mallory Zdon of San Diego, CA, Leanna Franklin, Isaac, Eli, Audrey Franklin of Granville Summit and Piper Ann Zdon of Towanda; his siblings-in-law, Roger Rockwell (Stephanie), Brian Rockwell (Kim), Robert M. Rockwell, Susan Rockwell of Canton, PA and Kelly Nearing (Bob); his cousin Victor Franklin of Wysox, PA; and his pet Lydia. He is also survived by several cousins, nieces, nephews, and many friends.
There will be a memorial service at a later date because of the current pandemic. Burial will be private.
