He was predeceased by: his parents, James Sonny and Hattie Louise Carrol (Simmons). He is survived by: his parents-in-law, Douglas and Ellen Rexrode of Maysville; his sisters-in-law, Sonya Rexrode of North Carolina and Heather Thorne of West Virginia; his nephew Daniel; and also Teresa Conlon. He is also survived by one brother; four sisters.
