He was predeceased by: his siblings, Peter Tarapchak and Irene Iorio. He is survived by: his spouse Kum Ye Tarapchak (Hong); his daughters, Margaret (Ford Cook) of Okeechobee, FL and Mary Miller of Jonestown; his granddaughters, Caitlin Otero and Kristin Miller; and his great grandchild Caitliana Otero.
