He is survived by: his wife Joy Steinly (Barmoy); his children, Jacob (Alana), Noah and Victoria; his parents, Dwight Steinly and Mary Ann Steinly (Fritz); and his brothers, Eric (Jolene) and Aaron (Kristen).

In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to Lower Dauphin Band Boosters to benefit marching band students.
