He was predeceased by: his parents, Hile Homer "Gomer" Sr. and Mildred "Millie" Smith (Krupelak); his brother Hile Jr. "Butch" Smith; and his brother-in-law Richard Shirley (late Tina L.). He is survived by: his girlfriend Patricia Robinson of Grampian; his girlfriend's children, Mary, Gary, Luann and Boyd; his children, Amber Nixon (Anthony) of Woodland and Terry G. Smith of Portage; and his siblings, Diaan Shirey (Smith) of Frenchville, Ronald Smith of LeContes Mills and Randy Smith (Sharon).
