He was predeceased by: his parents, James Starr and Grace Starr; his daughter Tammy Starr; and his brothers, William and Perry Starr.
He is survived by: his wife Mildred "Milly" Starr (Pierce); his grandchildren, Brooke, Ace and Tia Angeletti; and his siblings, Mable Tersine, Mary Tersine, Helen Dunlap, Randy and John Starr. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
